Christmas 2001's highly successful tribute concert was billed as ‘An Evening with Frank Sinatra’ and starred Jack Valentine himself in the lead role as Sinatra.

Jack was backed by the dynamic 35-Piece 'Enigma Orchestra' led by Ben Foster, one of the most brilliant young arranger/conductors in the business today. The Enigma Orchestra delivered the original studio sound of The Great Nelson Riddle, Count Basie and Don Costa Orchestras which backed Frank Sinatra during the classic years of his greatest songs and recordings. For a live event this was an astonishing achievement. Ben, supported by the fantastic arrangements of Dave Foster, led the orchestra, while Jack handled the audience.

The event was an unparalleled success as Jack single-handedly filled up the huge Lancaster Ballroom with 352 guests each paying £75 per ticket to see the show!

When it's finally all over in the wee small hours of the morning and the happy guests spill out into The Strand, there's not a classic song left unsung, nor a dance-step left untried.


Jack Valentine personally fixes the entire orchestra, runs the event, and sells all the tickets himself. (He also sings all the songs!) It's one of the biggest events ever put on at The Savoy and nothing quite like it has been so successfully staged there since the heyday of Sinatra himself, who actually used to stay at the Savoy whenever he was in London.
